Evaluation Process
3 C’s: Cutting-edge, Comprehensive and Compassionate
Experts at CHADD, and other renowned research organizations, emphasize that no single test can diagnose ADHD. With this in mind, we have created an evaluation process guided by the 3 C’s: Cutting-edge, Comprehensive and Compassionate, which continues beyond the diagnosis, supporting you in your next steps. Although our primary focus is ADHD, the evaluation also considers other conditions that may co-exist with ADHD, or, in some cases, better explain the individual’s symptoms’. Information about developmental, medical, and family history, including any history of trauma, helps us conduct the most effective and thorough evaluation possible. Together we review the results and the range of treatment options, creating a plan designed specifically for you, with meaningful change as the goal.

ADHD and Adult Relationships
ADHD can profoundly impact romantic relationships, creating unique challenges for both partners. Symptoms like an attention, impulsivity, and emotional dysregulation can make maintaining a stable relationship difficult.

Understanding ADHD
ADHD is frequently thought of in terms of certain behaviors, like impulsivity, difficulty focusing, and hyperactivity, but it is much more than that. ADHD is a result of a variation in brain function and cognitive processes, and it is referred to as neurodivergent.
Next Step Guidance & Resources
Getting your diagnosis is the first step toward understanding the challenges you’ve faced, and it opens the door to a range of treatments, tools, and support. You now have a name to an issue you’ve been experiencing; this is a relief, as well as comforting and empowering. Many times, we see the problems we have as a reflection of who we are, for example, when you don’t do well in school you might think “I’m just not smart”.

What Are they saying?

Beth Nadel has worked with our family for over 14 years, supporting all three of our children at different times throughout their lives and helping us navigate the challenges of ADHD — both in childhood and adulthood. Her ability to provide accurate diagnosis, combined with her understanding, compassion, and practical strategies, truly made a difference for our family. We would wholeheartedly recommend Beth to anyone seeking support, whether for a child, teen, or adult. Her expertise and genuine care have had a lasting positive impact on our lives.

Over the past three years, Beth has been an invaluable guide and source of support for our family. While her direct work with Piper was meaningful, it was the time she spent counselling us as parents that truly made the difference. Beth has a deep understanding of autism & ADHD and always approached our conversations with patience, empathy, and practical wisdom. If you are looking for someone who will walk alongside you as you learn to better understand and support your autistic child, Beth is an extraordinary resource. Her guidance has made a lasting impact on Piper’s life — and on ours as parents. We are so grateful for her.

There’s something large and important in meeting someone who meets you right where you are. Beth walks beside her clients and as near in their footsteps as anyone I’ve ever met. And she never seems weary. She doesn’t use the typical language of psychotherapy, because she is far from typical. I am a professional life coach, meditation teacher and energy healer. I have worked with Beth as a client and sent her many of my clients over many years. I sent them because I cared so much for them, and I knew beyond a doubt that she could and would help them. I’ve had people hug me and say in my ear “Beth”. I knew what they meant immediately, because Beth has pulled me, unscarred, through the eye of a needle many times. She has a wonderful sense of humor and incredible feel for the human experience. Beth is one of a kind. As long as she is in practice, I will always send my friends, family and clients to her alone.
